The sound bar at the base of the tv is what runs it.  Unfortunately, the soundbar is compulsory for the tv to work, including supplying power.  I'd prefer an isolated box to run the tv and the soundbar as an option...

LG W7 series will be "released" around US summer - which means around April this year. 65" inch is around 8K USD. While LG has officially release specs on the 77" here. I agreed with @Kaynin, what if you an existing sound systems. How well does it integrate with the LG's W soundbar/processing unit?:unsure:

The new OLED Sony's are using LG panels, which should be a good marriage as Sony has always had better processing, plus they will have a hard time justify their usual price gouge for just having the Sony badge.
