Unfortunately, the soundbar is compulsory for the tv to work, including supplying power. I'd prefer an isolated box to run the tv and the soundbar as an option... While LG has officially release specs on the 77" here. I agreed with @Kaynin, what if you an existing sound systems. How well does it integrate with the LG's W soundbar/processing unit? Tweaky Posted January 8, 2017 Share Posted January 8, 2017 The new OLED Sony's are using LG panels, which should be a good marriage as Sony has always had better processing, plus they will have a hard time justify their usual price gouge for just having the Sony badge.
