powerav
Not sure if there is alreasy a thread on this, I did look at least 3 pages back. I got the bluray of Extreme - 25 year anniversary of Pornograffiti. Sounds very big just like a rock concert should. Good to see them in good shape, energetic and still with long hair. I was into these guys way before the more than words and hole hearted hits so yes real good to see this great album plated in full. Just dissapointed a bit with the video interviews of the likes of Brian May and Steve Tyler cut in, i hate that. Does sound very good though and Nuno Bettencourt is a wizard on guitar, up there with the best like John Pertucci

powerav
HEART: LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL WITH THE ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA Wow this is a true classic, sounds unbelievable. A new reference DVD or Bluray. The aerial shots of Royal Albert Hall would be magical on a projector, can't wait till I get mine set up again. Ann Wilson is just incredible, absolutely kills Adele and she doesn't have to swear.
audiofeline
Have just finished watching Paul Kelly's "Live Apples" - a recording from the 2007 tour, featuring the album "Stolen Apples" in it's entirety, then lots of his greatest hits. Has Paul Kelly ever done a dud gig? Edited May 21, 2017 by audiofeline 1
powerav
An Evening With Annie Lennox. WOW!!!! i just put this on after a 3 hour 2 channel listening session, I don't want to go back to 2 channel again, this is dynamite. The reason why I could never give up an AVR. Might sell all the 2 channel gear and just go back to music concerts and 5.1 audio.

No no no, it was the other way around, have always been into surround sound, since I saw a episode of Beyond 2000 back in early 90's on Yamaha receivers. Went to Brashs the next day and got a Sherwood surround processor and amp. 1 year later in 96 went Len Wallis and got the top of range Yamaha AVR with subwoofer. The point was I was going to give up on surround and concentrate purely on 2 channel but I revisited a lot of my surround music last night and it's all just great. Blk plastic
Watched this last night, haven't seen it for ages and was very much blown away. From the opening scene with David Byrne coming out with an acoustic guitar and a boom box, all the way through to the extended band workouts,it reinforced for me just how funky a band they were

powerav
Brian May and Kerry Ellis - The Candlelight Concert. Just an acoustic guitar for the most part and an awesome voice, still sounds incredible. I don't understand why they don't show this sort of stuff at hifi shows. audiofeline
Have just received a BluRay of Talking Heads Stop Making Sense movie. Seeing Talking Heads live was one of my all-time best concert experiences. The movie brings back great memories. Stunning stageshow and performances. And quite an upgrade from my old VHS.
