[ACT] JBL L96 Speakers $499 BUY IT NOW

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JBL-L96-Stereo-Speakers-/371666118552?hash=item568906e798:g:ihsAAOSwM4xXb2mp

At the buy it now price they are an absolute bargain. They appear pretty mint.

Edit: Someone has now bid on them taking away the buy it now price. I have a feeling these will sell more then the original buy it now price.

That frustrates me to no end. No sane person would expect to win the auction at the base price if they bid with 9 days to go. It's as though they knew they couldn't afford it so they wanted to raise the price and wreck it for the real buyer!

[QLD] Thermo Scientific Controlled-Rate Freezer Model: 7453

http://www.graysonline.com/lot/0004-7012521/laboratory-and-bio-tech/thermo-scientific-cryomed-controlled-rate-freezer

Freezes down to -180C / -356F. Yes - now you can cryogenically treat your own hifi gear, tubes etc, in the comfort of your own home :)

Note that I think this requires a supply of liquid nitrogen.

Am just starting to compile my first HiFi system, I have listened to a few speaker/amp combinations and in my limited listening have liked the NAD sound a bit more so far with the speakers I've listened to.

I have found this on ebay, looks like a previous generation of the current 375BEE (but I'm probably wrong) & I think this looks like a pretty good deal - what are peoples thoughts as a starter amp??
