What my post said was that I have no interest in @deanB 's suggestion... And I love it when non-tech people claim their ears are more reliable than any test equipment, even if they don't have a clue about the technical aspects of the subject in question. Next visit.. we'll try this instead, and see how it goes... third visit, oh we might do some tests, and try something else. Engineer gets called out to fix a problem, and if he doesn't fix it on the first visit, all hell breaks loose..
