He's based out of Waihi and the only issue could be his health isn't the best, so can take a little time completing a repair-but does excellent work and for a reasonable price He's in the whitepages. He's a military trained genius tech that takes a huge amount of pride in the work he does, and with good reason. I try and do what I can with my own gear because at least I know what parts are being used and can do fairly good work, but when I get stuck or want a piece to really shine, it goes to Greg. He's a mate of mine, but I'd be saying he was great even if he wasn't a friend. He specialises in tube stuff but is excellent at SS gear as well. Also does great woodwork and some speaker repair. We are sitting listening, on old national speakers and a rega TT and - there is only two words describe it - f###ken awsome.... still cannot believe that 3 people missed that the output transformers were rotten................
