Mr.Anderson
Hiya! Are these tubes matched? Thanks Jason They probably are, but cannot be sure since Prima-Luna amps employ their Propriety Auto-Bias system which makes matching irrelevant.
Guest scumbag
Interesting question. I note that not a single seller of the Prima Luna branded tubes gives you an option to buy a quad-matched pair. That doesn't mean that they won't be but given the self-biasing mechanism in the Prima Luna amp's they would have no interest in selling them as matched quads. So if we assume that they are not matched quad - the question is how closely toleranced are the tubes that come from their OEM supplier. This might help - https://primalunablog.com/2012/03/15/welcome-to-the-machine-primaluna-dialogue-premium-integrated-amplifier-2012-part-5/ - I've seen this 60-100 rule thing on some of the PL tube resellers sites too.
