  1. Further Information: Rrp $525 per set ($1050) Brilliant cables for the money, and Audioquest gear is always priced well for the performance, I just don't need these and have some bills to pay. Will ship australia-wide at no cost.
  2. Further Information: RRP ~$1000 (499ea) This is for two sets. Fantastic set of leads for an absolute steal. Offering the perfect entry to premium cable by way of SR's entry point, these give one the most magnificent soundstage for the dollar I've yet heard, and allow an enormous amount more detail to reveal itself. While their high end is flat out my favourite cable, period, the Core series deserves credit and immense respect for what they could pull off anywhere near its price. Happy to ship Australia-wide, and typically happy to include freight unless it makes the sale redundant.
  3. Further Information: RRP $575 Brilliant entry-upgrade cable from the boffins at AudioQuest. Simple styling, exceptional build - and even better audio - quality for the money, the Red River series offers ENORMOUS improvements to the impact and overall presence of the system to which it is connected, at a price that is hardly offensive. As a longer, easy to run set, this is perfect for those requiring additional distance between components. Still in great condition overall, save for a few marks on the XLR shells themselves. Happy to ship Australia-wide, and typically happy to include freight, unless it renders the sale redundant.
  4. Further Information: Hybrid copper/silver KS 1120 XLR cable. .75m length with original case. Good sounding cable . Excellent resolution for the money.
  5. Further Information: Natural, full-bodied sound Bottom-end strength Pairs well with forward or thin sounding systems
  6. Further Information: Great XLR cable for natural sound dynamics. https://tivolihifi.com.au/products/audioquest-red-river-stereo-interconnect?variant=39724250923121
  7. Further Information: Like new condition, probably only 100hrs or so use and disconnected only a few times. Fabulous sound, better than any XLR I've heard. Only using headphones now so NLR. Comes in original packaging. XLR 40 is designed primarily for low capacitance as this has been identified by QED as a major factor which leads to a high fidelity experience. Further steps have been taken to eliminate minute timing errors in the cable by the use of a special floating Zn/Mn ferrite jacket alongside use of QEDs unique 'Tri-Conductor' technology reducing signal to ground capacitance to vanishingly low levels. Neutrik XX-14 Nickel Series XLR gold plated connectors are provided as standard with Reference XLR 40 cables.
  8. Further information: Bought brand new, was used for only a short period before I changed to full XLR Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that a reasonable donation for selling fees is expected upon successful sale of your item - if you have previously sold items and not made a donation, your advertisement may not be approved.
  9. Further information: Great as new condition, worth close to $500 RRP AUD Landed. Cable itself is stock/Moon but Lemo connectors and XLR has been custom re-terminated, done by pro cable maker @Bengineer from SNA. Length 1.5M Photos:
  10. Further information: Great as new condition, paid close just under $400 USD shipped ($550 AUD) just over a year ago. All stock/original from Moon USA (not custom made etc). Happy to price invoice for new owner. Order info/specs: 152.4cm Long (Cable Length: 5 ft, Headphone Connection Type: Focal Utopia, Amplifier Connection Options: 4-pin Neutrik Male XLR [Gold]) Photos:
  11. Further information: Listing the entirety of my stereo over coming weeks, these are item #3, having in the past few days sold a Plinius 9200 amp and Chord Signature speaker cables. I purchased these interconnects from another fellow on Stereonet in 2015. At that time these interconnects were a current product however a quick search of the internet suggests they are no longer in production. My understanding is that the cables are contstructed from silver & "Varalloy" (a silver & gold alloy) and that this particular example was a 'version 2' of the Komako line, the 'version 1' identifiable by a heat shrink wrap around the connectors. I additionally believe that they originally retailed for approximately US$600. Possibly a more knowledgable member could chime in with further information?... The cables present in superb condition, with no damage to the connectors or sheathing. The original plastic box packaging includes a foam insert and a card slip (as per image #4). Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks! 15. Hey guys, in a few months I'll be looking at probably upgrading my S.M.S.L DAC/Amp (DAC is the SU-8, Amp is the SP200) stack to maybe a single DAC/Headphone Amp combo.. I'm wanting one that is better performing that is a USB headphone amp/ DAC in one possibly, with XLR output because it will also be used as a DAC for my speakers. Are there any that have a LFE out? (Whether that be XLR or RCA I'm not too concerned) Budget is preferably around $1,000. Cheers!

  17. Further information: For sale is Electrocompaniet ECD-1 Up-sampling DAC which is the same electronics as found in their EMC-1UP flagship CD player. Features AES-EBU, Toslink and 2 x SPDIF inputs and also up-sampled 24/192 digital output. It has the same chipset as in Lampizator's Lampucera DAC, which he considered at the time to be the 2nd best DAC ever. This unit of course has much better Electrocompaniet's dual differential balanced output which is renowned for having valve-like sound but with transistor-like slam. I am now switching to Wadia 16 which has digital inputs and can be used as DAC which will simplify the syetem and free some funds. This is not one of my repairs but DAC which was in my #1 system for 3 years. Photos:

  19. Further information: SANSUI @907DR These 907 Alphas are the best integrated that sansui ever made. The 907 DR delivers a very articulate and accurate sound in presenting any genres . It's beautifully rich, smooth, detailed and accurate. 3d imaging with a big soundstage. Separation of instruments is also very well placed. The phono stage is a dedicated circuit with high quality build too. Fully balanced with XLR inputs takes your listening to another level with minimum ground noise. A large-sized upgraded banana speaker terminal, pure-copper chassis, tone controls/loudness switches , a polar attached-indicator power cord / AC outlet are some of its features. The build quality on these is very impressive and surpasses many modern amplifiers, no wonder they weigh at 33 kgs!!. This was the pinnical of Sansui's run. The Unit presents in excellent condition with gloss front face and lacquered real wood sides, one of the best looking Alphas for sure. It was serviced when it was imported from Japan a year ago. A 100volts step down transformer is required to run this amp. However you can easily get one from tortech website for around $150. I will include a link below so you can order one from them and they post it very quickly as well. https://www.tortech.com.au/product/voltage-converters/step-down/economy/economy-japanese-step-down-transformer/ SPECS: https://audio-database.com/SANSUI/amp/au-alpha907dr-e.html SHIPPING: I will pack this professionally in the box it came from japan.Double heavy-duty cardboard box and foam all around .It should arrive extremely safe. 20. This is a single cable only as its for digital transfer with m/f XLR plugs, aka AES/EBU. Typically used between digital sources (CD player, transport, Dacs). I'm the first and only owner of this cable.
  21. Further Information: These are boutique hand made high purity solid core silver speaker cables that have been cryogenically treated with air dielectric. Silver is 7% faster than copper in terms of signal transmission speed. With these cables you can experience awesome PRAT and musical timbre, palpable imaging, huge soundstage, and deep bass (yes, they are not your typical lean silver cables). Darwin Cables is a small operation in the US and don't have huge marketing budgets so that they can keep producing "giant slayers" type products beating the big guys. Darwin cables are a different class in terms of transparency, PRAT, timbre, soundstage size, holography etc. The Darwins carry over the deep quality bass and midrange while having a realistic soundstage, focus and transparency, and make guitar plucks sound alive and dynamic. 22. Further Information: ARRAN OCC XLR (3PIN) COPPER INTERCONNECT CABLE Arran OCC XLR is a high-resolution OCC copper interconnect cable building on ideas initially developed for our acclaimed Mavros & Asimi ranges. A technically and sonically superior wide-bandwidth interconnect designed to maximise the performance of the very finest audio systems which offer the increasingly popular option of XLR connection. Arran OCC XLR incorporates our precision dd (dual-drain) system. The Arran OCC XLR features the highest quality ‘6N’ (99.99997% purity) elongated crystal copper manufactured using the OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) process. The cable utilises a pair of conductors, each made up of six solid OCC strands surrounding a seventh central wire, tension wrapped in a multi-layer microporous Teflon dielectric. A sophisticated ‘dd’ (dual-drain) screen configuration with a copper shielding braid ensures minimal RF interference and noise susceptibility. Termination is with our cold-weld aluminium alloy ‘dark Chrome’ XLR connectors, here with silver-plated OCC copper pins. In a cold-weld (solder-free) connection, the metal of the connector plug and the wire are squeezed together under a calibrated pressure to form a robust, consistent, air-tight metal to metal contact with no deformation of the cable dielectric. The result is a smooth, uninterrupted signal path which behaves as one continuous entity. SPECIFICATIONS Connector Type: Atlas dark chrome XLR Conductor Material: OCC Copper Dielectric Material: PTFE (microporous Teflon) Construction: 4-core + screen dual-drain. Screen: Braid + Mylar™, 100% Capacitance: 133.98 pF/m Inductance: 0.332 μH/m Resistance: 0.0197 Ohms/m Outside Diameter: 9.8mm
  23. A 1.25m pair of Geoff's gorgeous premium R1 Dragon XLR balanced cables. With original bag, box, velcro ties etc. RRP is $743.95. This used to sit between my Lumin and old amp, my new pre-amp has on-board streaming/DAC and these are too short to feed my monoblocks from my pre, so they're up for sale. Had them for about 8 months. The reputation of the Dragon Litz cables is well deserved and they have a cult following here in Stereonet. They are the match of other cables priced well into 4 figures. From the Aurealis website: R1 Dragon Balanced Cable - Silver and Copper Litz It's taken a long while but the silver/copper Litz Dragon is now available as a balanced cable. In order to achieve a balanced configuration the amount of wire in the signal path has been doubled. Features: 7 Litz wires per channel. Silver and copper Litz are combine in the signal paths (Pin 2 and Pin 3) As with the RCA version, 3 different gauges of Litz wire are used - 24, 26 and 28 awg The Litz wire used is our own premium Litz. This is a genuine UPOCC Litz with a very high strand count and each strand insulated in enamel. There are around 100 signal carriers on Pin 2 and Pin 3 of this cable. This results in immaculate detail, a great sound stage, and a cable that is very close to lossless The Litz wire is supported by the wonderful ETI Kryo XLRs. These use silver-plated copper pins insulated in a teflon block. Cotton sheathing and a foamed teflon tube are used for support and to dampen microphonics Double external braiding with the outside braid in the green and black Dragon colours
