    Receiver with Digital Radio???

    Hi all,

I am trying to find a receiver with DAB+ radio for a guy a work who is in the process of setting up a home theatre system. It's a struggle though as all I have come across still have standard FM/AM. He doesn't want that seeing as digital radio is coming in now and doesn't want to have to spend extra money later on for a separate DAB+ tuner.
Anybody seen or heard of something to suit?

    Cheers
    Pete

I havn't seen one yet....I'm also holding out for DAB tuners in recievers. Hopefully Denon includes digital tuners in their 11' series gear.....

Out of interest, does anyone know around what month Denon releases their new product ranges?

I am waiting for a DAB car tuner (with MP3 and CD). Not on the market.

Why not a separate DAB+ tuner? I understand Arcam and Cambridge have models.

Hi shogun2... yeah my preference would be separate, but the guy I was looking for wanted combined for some reason. I have pretty much convinced him that individual components is the better way to go, so we are working from there.

Could the desire for a receiver be because of remote control requirements? - single remote for control of all items?

yes and no... If he gets all the one brand then the remotes should all be common. I know that's the case with the Cambridge gear anyway... One remote does both my amp and CD.
