I just blew away the $3500 BIN on these 3 x Lenehan ML-1s:

I doubt the auction will run "all the way" though...

Interesting that these are the bi-wire version. Why bi-wire a speaker with no crossover?

They are a 2-way. Hence they have a crossover

Well... depends on your definition. The bass/mid is run full range direct from the speaker inputs and the tweeter has a resistor in series to protect it. Each driver rolls off mechanically. There is no division of the signal by an electrical circuit.

Mind you Andy, that thing is actually quadraphonic by the looks. If you have any old Quad records you could listen to them in full quadraphonic glory.

OMG, the universe has morphed into a strange land where andythiing becomes a dump donator and then buys a brand new fully AKTIV Linn system.

I think you may be onto something Rhett. he's warding me away so he can jump on it. looking for another quad system to pair up with the one he lifted from the tip, making an Octo-system. "Octo-Andy"!

Now, note that I only said it was a nice "looking" unit. I have no desire to listen to it, though the 4-channel factor is intriguing.....
