I've watched the 60th anniversary Christmas episodes with Ncuti Gatwa appearing as the new Doctor in the last two specials and I have to say I'm impressed with Ncuti Gatwa and hopeful about the future of Doctor Who under Russell T Davies.
Ncuti is very charismatic as the Doctor and isn't tied down by bad writing and poor support cast like Jodie Whittaker (I still think she could have been amazing with a decent Executive Producer...).
The Doctors new companion Millie Gibson appeared as well as Ruby Sunday and shows a lot of promise, Ncuti and Millie should make a pretty good team.
Surprisingly she isn't in a wheelchair or chosen for her ethnicity...
The Christmas specials as a whole were pretty good, well written with some very good performances.
They even brought back the most annoying companion of all time and somehow she managed to not ruin the whole thing...
