  21. A top vintage for Barolo Steve, getting harder to find nowadays. That cork looks perfect as does that steak. Hope you get better soon and looking forward to some great vino pics in 2024 mate.
  22. Is is one of his mate, he is very passionate about his wines. I’m not so sure that they represent great value in Oz but this is a nice wine all the same. I wouldn’t pick the varieties in a blind taste, not at all. To me this was slightly candied which would have leaned me to a Grenache with (to me) other flavours reminiscent of Italian Sangiovese. I am on the tail end of Covid again so maybe my tastes are a little skewed but I really did enjoy this wine and I’m sure I have a few more of his wine’s buried somewhere in the fridges

  24. Some acidic wine to pair with this gorgeous steak. The Riesling is holding up so well, it’s hard to believe that it’s a 9.yo What a nice night it is in Perth too, perfect chill out weather.
