  1. Not wanting to go too off topic but re:paypal I had to wait 40 days before I could touch my money paid through paypal on a sale of a high end amp on Ebay. It was nearly $5k and although feedback both come up postive within days on both sides, Paypal were adamant to freeze the funds and just make me wait all that time for 'security reasons'. Just a warning from me because I felt really helpless not being able to do anything at the time. GLWtS, amp looks lovely.
  2. Amazing speakers for the price. If you're on the fence just get em then decide whether you want em (lol) Yes they are that good. GLWS

  9. FS: MARANTZ AV8801 Pre amp

It doesn't support those formats (Atmos, DTS:X, Auro3d etc) - they couldn't patch it in because it needs a new chipset to support these functions. Fantastic pre though if you're not fussed with having ceiling/atmos speakers. Yes you can expand 7.1 material to use the full 11.2 channels.
  10. Sold pending pickup.
  11. Edit: *Pics added of actual unit. *Price dropped to $1050.
  12. Item: JBL LSR 308 Studio Monitors Location: Kew, Vic Price: $700 for all 3, $500 for 2 only Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Extra Info: I used these 308s in my HT setup before slowly upgrading to M&K S300 monitors which are over 10x the price. The JBLs are awesome value, quite easy on the ears for long listening sessions and work well at low volumes. Can be easily run from AVR pre outs, or from a dac/soundcard or from computer. They sounded great in an Left Center Right setup for home theatre. There is a slight discount as reflected in the price if purchasing all 3. Pictures:
