  6. Item: FS: Azura 160hz Horns with 4" throat and 1 pair of FANE STUDIO 8M drivers Location: Melbourne 3095 Price: $700 for the Azura 160hz Horns $600 for the FANE STUDIO 8M drivers (See description) $1100 for both horns and Fane drivers Item Condition: Azura Horns are very good and include the compression housing for an 8" driver at a compression ratio of 2:1. The FANE 8M drivers were stopped by customs when they were shipped to me and one (pictured) had some holes drilled in the back which was then cleaned and repaired by Speaker Bits here in Melbourne. The other is perfect. Reason for selling: Change of speaker system Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only I would prefer a local pickup as they are very large Extra Info: I loved the mid bass of this system as it just had so much energy and tone. The compression housing for an 8" driver at a compression ratio of 2:1. is included and I have some alternate Coral Drivers that can be used. The other Fane driver is mounted in the horn. Pictures:
  7. Item: Very Very rare AH! Horn, Bill Woods (OMA) Sand cast Conical Horn throats with Horns. 2" throat (pair) Location: Melbourne 3095 Price: $1600 including the Beach ply horns. Item Condition: Very very good Reason for selling: EOI as man they were difficult to get and sounded amazing. I am using a different setup but still have the urge to reinstate the conicals. It would be a very reluctant sale. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Man they were difficult to get and now they are almost impossible as Bill Woods of AH! Horns has closed his business in Canada to design/build horns solely for Oswalds Mill Audio in New York and will not provide the throats again. They are the same throats that are sand cast in Pennsylvania and powder coated Black, they sound amazing hence the EOI. There are so many hours put into obtaining the throats let alone in hand cutting the petals to form the horns. The throats are 2" and I had been using them with the B&C DCM50 to spectacular effect. The horns are able to go down to 340hz with the correct compression driver. As you will note I have created a pair of stands that attach to the throats. The throats have a cast and machined removable collar that allows easy removal of the compression driver. One ply horn needs some light sanding which I will do before selling. The Ply has not been oiled or painted. I had intended to Japan Black them. They are heavy and I would prefer a local pickup. Still thinking ............ what am I doing selling them! Pictures:

  9. Item: JBL 2435HPL Compression Driver Pair with Beryllium Diaphragm - 1.5" Throat Location: Melbourne 3095 Price: $800 Item Condition: Very Good Reason for selling: Reluctant sale as I really looked far and wide to find a pair in this good condition. They were magnificent in an Azura horn setup that I used to use and always wanted to revisit. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Beautiful pair of the coveted JBL 2435HPL compression drivers. These drivers have a 1.5" exit, neodymium magnet structure and most importantly a 3" BERYLLIUM DIAPHRAGM. These are essentially the Pro version of the horn driver used in the flagship K2 9800 speakers from the mid 2000's.They are also used in JBL's Vertec line array speakers. They are VERY sensitive and will reach up to about 10K+. There is a lot of info on these drivers on the Lansing Heritage Forum. The same type of drivers used in some very good sounding "golden horns" here in Melbourne Pictures:
  10. Item: JBL 2225H 15 inch Woofers Location: Melbourne 3095 Price: $350 per pair Item Condition: Very good for age Reason for selling: Have upgraded to a different speaker system and no longer require. I have only used the woofers sparingly in a stereo audio setup. Very good woofers with really good kick drum reproduction. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Original surrounds. I would prefer the woofers to be collected as it is very heavy. Pictures of Pair one: $400 Pictures of Pair two: $400
