StereoNET Australia is free resource. It is hosted on a dedicated server in a secure data centre in Brisbane Australia. While offshore hosting can be quite cost effective, it does not offer the reliability and speed required for such large traffic that is 99.5% Australian based. Continuing to provide this service is not cheap. Sponsors and advertising alone do not cover the costs of hosting, let alone associated expenses.
Server costs and in particular 'bandwidth' costs in excess of $600.00 per month and continues to increase.
