Well Captain, it's like this you see.
I and quite a few other members live in an area where there is huge amounts of combustible material [ aka native bushland ] and there are psychotic types who go around lighting fires,which if they take off could be another black Friday or ash Wednesday. Because of this fact a lot of people are rightly very concerned about losing everything and with 40 degrees and 40KM/H winds the risk factor even from non human factors is extremely high.
