Soundsmith tips

27 March 2013 - 04:04 PM

Hi guys,

I have a cartridge or two to retip and I quite like Soundsmith's results - but I was wondering if anyone has managed to compare the same cartridge model with his different tip offerings?

Say, a DL103 retip - I've heard one sound very nice with his $250 LC option, so initially thought better to go with what I've heard and liked.

But would the $350 optimised LC be more worthwhile?

And has anyone tried his DL103 suspension mods yet?

GTG Sunday March 3rd

01 February 2013 - 10:16 PM

Time I had one I guess. North of the Grand Junction Rd for any brave souls who might risk life, limb or teeth. (Pooraka, so you know how far it is before you commit). From around 1.30pm.

I'll have two systems running but possibly not at the same time... lol

Vinyl, cd and USB will be catered for but no SACD unless someone brings one.

PM me for details....

Cheers

Tal

PS. Must like (tolerate at least) dogs. And possibly a singing Galah. You get these things in the North you know.
