In Topic: Store charging $5.00 for just looking!!!!!

With clothes, its not so easy now. A decade ago, if you buy XL, it was XL. If you are XL, you gotta try XL, XXL or even XXXL just to make sure the thing fits, as I am seeing so much clothing, its a mixed bag. One section is too long, another section doesn't fit, omg its a joke.

One thing I don't like is shops wanting to charge a person to try clothes or shoes on.

What happens if the clothing or shoes don't fit properly out of their range. Too bad lose the try on fee. That is ridiculous.

There maybe other reasons why people choose to buy from OS rather than locally, and I hate to say it, but a lot of local places really are just horrible in terms of service. Its like once they got your money, they don't care if something goes wrong and won't provide after sales assistance.

Things like DVDs and music CDs, I generally prefer to get from Amazon, because at the end of the day, if I get something defective, they take your word for it and a replacement is sent, and if its low value, you don't even have to return the other item. But here, depending where you go, if you have something that doesn't work on your equipment, they don't take your word for it, they try it on theirs, and if it works on the shops equipment and not yours, good luck in getting a exchange.

Not long ago I got a DVD, that on 2 players of mine (different players),  disc wouldn't play properly, it was just coincidence that when I took it back to a shop, the person there saw something on the disc interfering with playback as it worked fine there. But what if in that case there was nothing on the disc, disc played fine in shop and not on my equipment. I actually said to the salesperson if I had ordered this from Amazon and complained about having disc issues on my player, they would of sent me a replacement with no issues. his facial expression was definitely worth catching on camera lol.

I even had times when I have had faults even on replacements sent out, in which case Amazon refunded me, and didn't need to send the items back. This is why for some things I would rather buy from Amazon rather than locally. If you have something faulty, or believe that it is faulty, they take your word for it, unlike many local shops here.

There have been the odd occasion where I have even buy CDs that were faulty, and even when returning them to the shop, they were just so hesitant to swap the disc over, even though they knew there was a problem, not to mention I more than once had some things don't play properly on my equipment and played on theirs, and I couldn't do anything about it.

In Topic: Advise on back pains

Pchan I would say get a MRI of your whole back if it hasn't been done. Maybe one of the neck to (and MRI neck is very hard with me it took 4 attempts lol)

I have issues with lower back pain myself now and then. But mine is because of all my other related health issues. These past 1-2 months have been not so good for me, joint sprain in the lower back, tightness and severe knots around the lower back and buttocks area, it was feeling like everything was pulling in multiple directions.

Those doing laboring jobs, yes I have heard numerous stories those are the culprits for people with bad backs over the years, and it is not uncommon for people to reach a point they cannot do certain types of physical activity anymore in relation to this.

Tom Baker as The Doctor has always been one of my favorite doctors, and the era with both that doctor and Sarah Jane as companion was one of the best. Also he is the only doctor who can defeat his enemies with a jelly baby :thumb:

Another era that was good, was with The Master, the one that was originally played by Roger Delgado.
