Not all re-mastered LP's are run through a digital delay when cutting the master. Some use a specialised analogue tape machine for delay but these are few and far apart these days.I did read somewhere that even the remastered vinyl editions (that audio-buffs rate highly) are STILL digital (digitally remastered then pressed onto vinyl).....which seems to 'contradict' the 'analogue' advantage, which in turn just means you are listening to 'digital!......only on a turntable!

No harm in trying but it won't give you the slightest idea what one of the more recent two channel Marantz amps can do.I might give them a try on my Marantz SR6300. It's an AV receiver but might give me some idea what Marantz would sound like.
For reasons I can't figure audiophiles can be somewhat dismissive of these designs yet strangely if you expose them to the results
without them being able to see the amp or know anything about it's brand they tend to approve. Odd, ain't it !

Let's wander WAY off topic then.Correct me if I'm wrong here BUT if you 'burn' a CD and it is 'verified' as bit for bit perfect through 'accurateRip, then there can be NO better rip possible!
So if fast settings happened to be used and any other applications running AND the rip comes out 'verified' then why go to the trouble when ripping?
I would understand 'playback' issues, with other applications having an 'audible' bearing and 'quality' of the disc maybe having a bearing!
This reminds me of a trap many lovers of remastered LP's fall unknowingly into. As part of the cutting process used to delay the signal from the analogue master tape ( if they've still got one) it's run through a digital delay, nearly always at the same 24 bit limit as CD's. So, often when you're paying top dollar for an 180 gm remastered LP you're really only buying a re-mastering 'degraded' to Redbook CD standards. I'm guessing that the added enjoyment we get out of these pressings is due to coloration added by the cartridge of one's choice and other analogue goodies such as reverberations set-up in the LP itself by needle talk. And no, I'm not a digitophile - most of my listening is still off the old black things.

I'll stick my head on the chopping block and suggest an alternative most audiophiles will look down their noses at, the best Marantz integrated you can afford.
Don't knock it till you hear it.
Another non-audiophile solution to which you could later on add a power amp, possibly a valve one. ( I know, the conventional wisdom is to use valves in
the preamp and solid state in the power amp but that often results in an impedance miss-match)
