I'll add my endorsement to the ones detailed above.
Haven't noticed any 'improvement' (with) nor 'detriment' (without)........but they are extremely well put-together and as Brumby said, the universal plug convenience means you can experiment with international cables if that tickles your fancy.
Jarrod Wicks (wixy here on SNA) may also be able to assist with getting them for you at a more competitive price than listed on the Osborne web site?
IMO, big speakers do important things that little speakers can't, and if I want to rock out at high volumes then regardless of room size I need big speakers. Yes there'll be trade-offs, but I'd rather cop the trade-offs than listen at low to medium volumes and be wishing I could turn the volume knob higher.
