Frank Marino & Mahagony Rush - Real Live -- recommended here a while back. I've had the CD for a few weeks, just getting around to playing it now. Extended guitar workouts, a lot of the tracks segue into each other ... very very nice.

A lot of dickering about bickering. You could be snickering over a Pickering, a kickering a ball, or watching lights a-flickering and clocks a-tickering.
It's all quite sickering.

Got a box chockers with CDs today, part of a job lot I picked up on Ebay. Collected and shipped courtesy of Logicprobe, who went above and beyond, and who has my eternal gratitude.
Lots of stuff too numerous to mention, including Tom Waits, Neil Young, The National, James Blake, Love, Nick Cave, Luka Bloom, Bright Eyes, Elliot Smith, The Clash, Badly Drawn Boy, The Decemberists, Cat Stevens, etc.
My "CDs that I've ripped but haven't listened to yet" pile is already a mile long. I reckon it will be Christmas before I get to this lot. #FirstWorldProblems

Try to have a whine without the 'h' - it's more fulfilling
NB use of - instead of,
... except in this case, a semicolon is more cromulent.
edit: and a full-stop helps, too.

I went to a garage sale this morning and picked up some really cool CDs for cheep:

Tetsu Inoue - Ambiant Otaku -- a classic ambient album from the Fax records heyday. Only 500 made, was very sought after back in the day.
Bohren & Der Club Of Gore - Sunset Mission -- just started getting into these dudes, very surprised to find one of their CDs out in the 'burbs.
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique -- Japanese pressing.
The Irresistible Force - Global Chillage -- another ambient classic from the early 90s, to replace my scratchy copy.
Thievery Corporation - The Richest Man In Babylon -- never owned any stuff from these dudes before.
Tosca - Delhi9 -- more from the Kruder & Dorfmeister crew. Has a second CD of minimalist piano music.
Prince - N.E.W.S. -- instrumental album from the wee purple one.
Various - Ninja Cuts: Flexistentialism -- double CD of stuff from the Ninja Tune label.
Various - Blue Funk -- compilation of funky shiz on the Blue Note label (Grant Green, Blue Mitchell, etc).
Jazzanova - The Remixes -- double CD of remixes from the Jazzanova dudes.
Lots of other stuff as well: heaps of Depeche Mode singles, more Beastie Boys and Money Mark, some Sly & The Family Stone, some early 90s electronic stuff (the Chill Out Or Die compilations), etc etc. I must have walked out with about 50 CD albums and 50 CD singles.
And heaps of James Ellroy books, including one that is signed.
Not a bad morning ![]()

Seu Jorge - The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions -- an oddity that I found today, basically one dude with his acoustic guitar playing Bowie covers, sung in Portuguese. Apparently used in the movie The Life Aquatic.

As I said previously ... charming, Arty. Just charming.
I would assume that claiming homosexuality is a disease to be "cured", and then implying that homosexuality is linked to pedophilia, would be against the forum rules, e.g. the bit about "denigrating a group" on the basis of "sexual preference".
I'm outta here for a while. SNA is getting ugly.
