They are fully restored & improved inside & out with new Original Tannoy surrounds, tweeter diaghragms and pepper pot wave guide dust cap with the receipts from Speakerbits rewired internally with Supra 1.6 Speaker wire recapped X over re magnetised magnets reinforceded infinitely tunable tensioned cabinets. These have been radiused and re grilled featuring original Tannoy lightning badges.The furniture grade birch Ply cabinets are repainted in studio black and the rear's are relaquered to show the beauty of the wood grain in Japanese brown followed up with feast watson deep red Jarrah stain. I must Say this is hardcore visual audio PORN. I will be looking at around $2800 to $2700 as I have never seen Chevoits in original cabinets taken to this level. Will be posting some money shots very soon. I am in the process of moving an a lot of gear will have to go. These without boasting are the finest Chevioits I have ever seen with the original cabinets Do any of you think this price is sellable or should I Just Keep them? Done by a "friend" so I re did them and am currently in the process of finishing them. As soon as I do. Hopefully before Christmas I will be doing exactly as you suggest.
