Stump Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 I have been doing cable upgrades from out the box cords and am now familiar with what is meant by "Floor Noise".Im happy with the results even thou you don't hear the floor noise when the system is pumping! It was suggested I try Synergistic Research XOT - Crossover Transducer. Has anyone gone down this path or been to a A/B blind test?? Mr Jones Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 SR offer a free 30 day trial which I took up. After putting them in, I thought they were well worth the money. No idea how they work but I found the sound became richer in timbre with them in. A no brainer for me. My friend also tried them and found the effect was too marginal and returned them. So it might come down to how revealing your system is or what other interactions are at play. Nothing to lose if give the free 30 day trial a go.
