HCB
Hoping to respark some interest in DIY speaker building, I built a pair of "Sachiko" horns a few years ago, now am looking at some simple Open Baffle designs. My knowledge of electronics is VERY limited, so it needs to be simple! Like good sound though, so if anybody has something that they can strongly recommend, an happy to hear from you. I was surfing a bit , and came upon a post for a design using 4 cheap Alnico drivers per side, Earle Weston wondered whether the design would lend itself to 4 Fostex 206 drivers per side, and thats got me thinking....I have owned a few amps made by Earl, and currently use one of his 300B (Time Machine) amps, which is excellent. Might consider investing in a few more Fostex drivers to play with. Nice to be a new member of the community.
