For some strange reason I didn't have a lot of luck searching the forum for info on the USA-1's so apologies if this has been done to death?
Anyway, what I would like to know is a descroption of the sound from this Emotiva combo, mainly via the UPA-200 (run from L & R).
The reason I'm asking this is that I'm quite sensative to bright sounding amplification so I just want to check this before I go down this road with Emotiva.
I was originally looking at thier UPA mono-blocks but these have been removed (I've emailed Emotiva).
So, if anyone has this combo, can you pls let me know your thoughts on the SQ from this set up
Cheers
Matt

They seem to work extremely well with my Rega Apollo and DAC.
The UPA-2 I have is the model before they changed them to the UPA-200. They have enough power for most applications and speakers available.

I've had an email back from Emotiva saying that the have retired the UPA-1's fromm service but they will be replaced with a XPA-100 in the next 3 months. They also indicated their newer stereo pre (XCM-1) will be available soon.
I might just pull the trigger on the USP-1 with the UPA-200 + 500 & be done with it.
Cheers
