Item: CustomAnalougeAudio JLTi KT88/120 Mk2 amplifier
Location: Adelaide SA
Price: PRICE DROP now 1375.00
Item Condition: As new (9months old)
Reason for selling: Decided not to go tubes
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, EFT
Extra Info: This is the Yaqin MC100b modified by Joe Rasmussen at www.customanalougeaudio.com. Joe provided the KT120 (Tunsol)tubes when built (extra cost). Total cost to purchase is $2K so you save +30% - it is a steal.
I have all the original packaging, power chord and the metal cage that covers the tubes - I don't use it.
Joes page explaining the modifications is here: http://www.customana...m/jlti_el34.htm (he discusses both EL34 & KT88)
Power OP is ~60w channel - certainly enough to drive my ESL's. Can be auditioned with either Paradigm Reference100 speakers or the Quads.

Shipping: Prefer local pickup, but willing to ship+insurance at buyers expense.

The person who picks this up is getting a real bargain. I can sort of understand the decision not to go tubes, but, frankly, having had my JTLi KT-88 Mk2 for most of a year now, I could barely imagine going back to my Arcam solid state separates.

Cheers
Warren

Astonished that this is still on the market! I would have expected it to be gone in a week.

Good luck Frank. That is a very nice unit.I have been trying to find a excuse to buy the Yaqin MC100b myself.I do have a future project in mind but the Amp needs to have a Pre in and Pre out for a Sub.
