Hi folks. I'm asking what feels like a question which has probably been posted 1000 times - but I had a search through the forum and couldn't find anything. Please direct me to it if you know where it exists!

Essentially I just need a couple of TV's to be wall mounted in my home - and before all the well intentioned DIY'ers say "do it yourself, it's easy!" - no thanks, I will not do it myself. I'm not tempting fate with a self-install on a brand new 65" TV which will take pride of place in the theatre - plus I want the option to sue if it falls down! :)

The second TV probably needs a power point moved and maybe a new aerial point (which is another story because apparently I may need a 2nd aerial!) - but it's a smaller 42" plasma.

I already have the bracket for the 65" (came with the telly) and I have my eye on a tilt/swivel jobby from Selby for the 42".

If anyone can recommend a decent installer, please let me know. I've had Home IT and Entertainment quote me $230 each - but was interested to know if anyone had other experiences they could share.

I could recommend some in Perth. But that's no help. The only one I can think of that is interstate is tech2home. Had some dealings with then early on. Seems to be hit and miss with who you get as an installer. Have a chat to your local Hifi store not large electrical retailer. They will recommend someone competent.

My suggestion is to not be afraid to pay a little more for the install. Ask the questions and make the decision. I've seen cheap installs that look... Well, cheap.

I'll do it for $1500 per set. That includes risk pricing to cover your litigious nature. :thumb:

anyone charging a premium due to fear of being sued, obviously doesn't trust their own ability to install it properly... ;) so I'll pass :P

Not yet - waiting on a response back from one of the installers. Might be delayed in the process given my baby is due tomorrow... we'll see! :)

I have bought screens from Audiophile and had them instal them both in my home and at a local library. They are professional experienced and incredibly thorough.
Whether they would do it on an instal only basis I don't know nick 94894864
