As the title explains, available from JB HI-FI for pre order now, due out 13 July Australia. Basic signed cd, Signed delux cd pack, and 2 x LP vinyl. Ordered mine yesterday (vinyl) note vinyl is limited to 500 numbered copies just like his sisters new solo album.

Bit disappointed with the quality of the vinyl on his sisters alum... But sometimes you. Can't be choosy....

My daughter's best friend(she's 17) sings on this album, haven't heard it yet but the bloke owes us a copy or two for introductions...(is he any good? Never listened to him or his sister)

"attenuate the self-generated reflections" - "to absorb and dissipate"...sounds like a mirror to me and why put one of those on top of a speaker?

This is his first solo album that I know of. As a couple i like them, sort of indi/folk, from the northern beaches of Sydney. I first saw them a few years back at a blues and roots gig in Perth. and got the first album "A book like this" then "By the way" I think Angus will do better than his sister, IMO.

I ordered the LP and CD, the CD shipped today, and got the LP delay notification too. Can't wait.

Got my cd today. It's a great album and personally signed by Angus too!
I enjoy it more than Julia's solo effort, By the Horns, which I got on LP.

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered it from ebay.
Bit pricier than JB's price but hey, better to have it than miss out because of a $12 difference.
Will be great to compare the LP to the CD.

Picked up a copy of the vinyl today at JB HI-Fi in Bourke Street. Got number 488, not sure how many (if any) they had left. i walked in and ordered mine on Friday the 13th and they arrived today.

I'm not counting on them to come through so I pre ordered with Amazon UK over the weekend, knowing UK release date was the 23/07 got an email this morning advising item despatched. Only $33.87 Aus includes shipping. If i end up with two so be it, as there are only 500 copies I dont want to miss out.

my JB order status is now showing in progress, not sure if it ever showed back ordered but they did send an email to that effect a week or so ago, could be a good sign?..

Mine shows "In Progress" as well, but strange that someone else has found a copy at JB in the store, yet the pre-orders haven't been fulfilled.....

I also got the on back order email I sent an email an ebay seller who had sold out of his 10 copies and he advised he had tried to order more, but did not commit to a date from suplier.

They still have stock if you are prepared to pay $52 including shipping...

I have also gone with the multiple attempts to buy option. My JB order also has In Progress but I just grabbed one on ebay just in case. If i get 2 copies they will go with my multiple Julia Stone lps - i purchased a second after damaging the cover of the first, when the damn sticky tape on the plastic outer sleeve stuck to the cover.

Hmm, I did the same.... But when I went to cancel my order with JB, they replied that the orders in process and it's too late... But I can organize a return it when I get it.....

Looks like I'm goin to get two copies.... Im not going to want two. So if that's the case I offer one to someone who missed out...

Yep, my status has changed to "awaiting shipment" as well. Wouldn't count on it though. With only 500 numbered copies made I would be surprised if they still have any left. Unless the new shipment is "not numbered"?? Anyhow, I bought my copy direct from a JB store just in case.
