Anybody have a pair of these?

I love my Focal speakers, these should be good for that Focal signature sound.

They look good, LJT.
I reckon you should buy some and give us a review. :thumb:

Yes do give us a review !

I imagine this is like the b&w p5 that like very much myself.

I live the sound of my focal speakers too. So be interested to see what focal can do on headphones given their capability in speaker and driver technology :)

Not too bad on the pricing front either given these are 200 pound in the UK.

There was a review in What Hi-Fi on these recently, saying they were quite good (if you can believe professional reviews in a magazine of that calibre....) pretty good option for portable use I would say. Quite nice build apparently.

I managed a couple of minutes of listening over the 2-3 times I was at a shop. It's not a bad set of cans. And it does block out a fair bit of outside noise.

But I don't really have much experience with cans in this price range. I thought that my cheaper Marshall Major sounded about as good in noisier environments tho the Focal might have the edge in quieter rooms. But in quieter rooms, it doesn't compare to my Audeze LCD2. So for me it's neither here nor there. I quite like the Marshalls. Very retro design and cheap enough for me to bring out without worrying about damaging or losing them in a worst case scenario.

I would love to get a pair of these and share my initial impressions.

Will see how things are at the end of the month.

Yes, imagine the Grande Utopia Headphones :)
With 50mm Beryllium drivers ;)
That would be great!
