Item: Ross Martin Dual PCM 1794 Bare Beast DAC

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Price: $100 plus $20 postage

Item Condition: Great but head phone amp not working

Reason for selling: No Longer Needed

Extra Info: Ross martin hand makes these DACs in america. It really is a superb unit, that i felt ,in my system, outclassed a W4S DAC2 and Metrum (no usb/spidif device tested with the metrum). To me the dac sounds quite realistic, with a musical, clear, and detailed sound.

When i first got the DAC the outputs were a bit hot for an old crappy samsung amp and my Aktimate Mini amps, but i have used it with my Quasimoto and Trafomatic amps with no problem.

Headphone jack does not work, but according to Ross its an easy fix if you know what you are doing (i don't).

its 110v but comes with a 240v step down transformer.
