It claims to allow you to take a recording from an original source then swap out something in the chain (interconnects, speaker cable if you use a mic, cartridge, isolation devices, etc etc) and then re-record it and then hear the difference. If it works then it could allow one to compare an infinite amount of tweaks. I havent tried it so cant comment...... but for someone with an enquisitive mind and some time?
Seems interesting to say the least.
