Extra Info: I built this kit early last year and used it as a headphone amplifier and speaker amplifier for my Paradigm Atom Monitors (near field) to great success. My setup has changed significantly and this is no longer used. It is the version 2 amp with the C4S upgrade and a switching headphone socket. Also has a custom built base, not sure what the wood actually is though.

Auditions are more than welcome and I would rather not post it. As with anything DIY I have no responsibility when you plug it into the mains. It has worked flawlessly over the last 12 months and has been moved interstate.

(I know little about valve amps.)
Is this designed for a particular impedence speaker? 8 ohms? 16 ohms? or dual taps?
What is its rated power output?

The amp is designed for 8 ohm speakers. I am a little unsure about the actual power rating but supposedly is is around 1.7W per channel. For speaker use, the speakers either need to be near field or high efficiency. I have it in my lounge room and it powers my speakers pretty well but I don't listen very loud either
