Something seemed to be happening over the weekend- download times were very slow, and my server kept cutting out. I use an iPad for my Internet interests.

G'day Grumps try this if your using firefox , worked for me, download uk or aussie spell check add on.

When you want check your spelling, right click.

On the window that pops up. on the bottom line you will see check spelling.

Then left click on that.It will then high light mistakes in block red.

Make the necessary corrections after that the usual wavy line should show up.

From time to time if its not working go through the right click left procedure in block red again.

Correct the mistake and it should go back to the wavy underline.

The only thing I can think of Grumps is try it again maybe you missed a step.
Sorry to state the bloody obvious but can you at least see the check spelling with the green tick in front of it in the pop up when you right click

I'm don't know! :(
When we first changed over it took a couple of days for it to work and it worked fine - then it stopped working a few days a go.

trybing ik agin
I have a tick next to the pop up - not sure it's green though
Nope no red underlines here - I just went to another site and tried it and it's working fine.
AH! success! under spellcheck in the pop up is 'Languages', when highlighted with the cursor English -Australia needs to be clicked.

Same thing fixed it for me. Strange that is on for other sites and not here. Anyway all working now - and I finally realised you can have an Australian dictionary! Yay :)

I have to repeat this every time I turn the computer on each day or it won't work - like you I'm puzzled why it works automatically on all other sites, but here it's a manual switch on every day.
