It's taken me a while to post this, but better late than never.
Popped over to Lebowski's place on the long weekend for some much needed time on the chair, relaxing and listening to Mark's fine system.
Last time I was here, he had his VAF's. So it was quite a different system I sat down to listen to.
His wonderful La Scala floor standers were a real treat. Working so much better in the "cave" they delighted us all afternoon as we rolled through a wide variety of music, and beers, and a damn fine Woodstock Vintage Fortified Shiraz.
I also must comment on his beautiful Pioneer turntable. I have 3 turntables already, and this left me wanting a 4th.

oh yeah it was a real fun afternoon. We listened to all kinds of music - Rodriguez, Dolly Parton, Eric Bibb, Booker T and so much more I forgot. Can't wait to do it all again soon.

yep it sure was a fun time, with lots of music switching back and forth from vinyl to computer all afternoon. Enjoyed a few beers along the way and that fortified Shiraz was just a knock-out (thanks Rich).

In keeping with the 70's theme of the room and hi-fi gear I have added a Lava Lamp, apparently it is about 30 years old ... and it matches the carpet and curtains : )

yeah that is an old Bar from the 70's, a family heirloom. The Amp on top is a Sansui 200A (actually it's a Receiver).

Great lamp Lebowski. I missed missed out on seeing it. And yes, as data so perfectly pointed out, it does really tie the room together.

Excellent... both of the above will work brilliantly with vintage amps when coupled with and DACs with high output voltage. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
