Hi everyone

I am considering purchasing an Athena turntable (with Rega 301 tonearm and AT7V cartridge) to replace my old Project 1.2 and would be grateful for any feedback from anyone who has one of these?

System set up is Redgum Rgi120ENR and Eclipse Reference speakers. A GSP Gram Amp 2 has been suggested as a suitable phono stage by Brian at Decibel Hifi here in Brisbane.

Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Thank you

Jet

I have one, with the Kinetic upgrade, and a detachable arm board, which I recommend if you don't want to be stuck with Rega as your only tonearm option. I'm running a Jelco 9" tonearm on mine.

I like the turntable.
It is non suspended and does not suffer from acoustic feedback.
And it sounds fine to me.
P.M. me if you like.
Also you can check out my other posts re my Arezzo.
