I thought I would use this thread to showcase any new brands or products available. You can keep up to date on Facebook or follow this thread!

Solid Tech racks are now available. There's been a lot of talk on SNA about racks, and how it's difficult to source decent quality racks in Australia. I've gone with Solid Tech because the technology is sound, and backed by rigorous testing and analysis. I think you'll be surprised at the cost of entry. They're very modular, and you can upgrade by adding suspension shelves or isolation feet down the track.

Solid Tech also produce an Isoclear isolator that works under any component and with most other racks. A good cost-effective upgrade.

Awesome! Quick question regarding the Radius Solo 4. Does the top suspension option mean that the top shelf is on springs to help absorb vibration? I'm considering this for my turntable.

Yes you are correct - it becomes a sprung shelf to help control vibration.

I have the solid tech rack of silence, and for the price, will not hesitate to recommend solid tech racks to anyone

Damn!

Showed the Solid Tech Radius Duo 3 to the handbrake and I really thought she'd like it...wrong.

What is it with women?

"attenuate the self-generated reflections" - "to absorb and dissipate"...sounds like a mirror to me and why put one of those on top of a speaker?

1st mistake is showing/asking the handbrake.
Do as I do, buy it, bring it home, then let her see it.

I've got the room too JA but she's muscled in on it  . But I've got some plans in motion that will circumvent her rather airy dismissal of that rack.

I will win in the end :P

Complete room refurb, started the ball rolling this morning and once I get started I'll start a thread up hopefully with some 'before','on-going' and finished pics over the next few months.

Can understand this reaction and is perfectly normal.

However unique good design is never cheap so if you want something different and stylish you will have to pay more so relativity they are probably good value.

I agree, especially when WE were the ones asking for good racks, and someone actually listens for a change and shells out for a minimum order quanitity.

How would the Isoclear isolator go with an Rega RP3? My rack is on a timber floor (with carpet) and I get a bit of feedback through the subwoofer at high volumes.

I believe they'd be an ideal solution for you. Happy to offer you a full refund if they don't work for your situation.
