Hi All.

Thought I'd test the waters to see if there is an interest in a GTG at my place.

Looking at the possible dates of Sunday 6th or Saturday 12th....

My main system consists of some Aslan Horn speakers currently bi amped by a couple of Earle Weston amps... A Trinity EL34 / Tempest KT88 combo that I'm trialling...

The tempest isn't in the pic

I would describe my system as... "full, forward sounding, coloured and dynamic"..
It isn't neutral or detailed...

Perhaps something different...

Plently of sources... A couple of TT's, squeezebox, cassette tape or reel to reel, yes even FM radio if you want... Oh and for those who still use the older format CD / SACD... I think I got one of those thingys....

G'day mate, it was the middle of 2009 when I was at your place last for a GTG and it would be good to make it over for this one too. I'll see the boss and work out if we're due for a holiday in SA around that time or not.

Cheers,

Batty

you just make sure that the mazda has a full tank of fuel before you leave for your one hour trip down south. And that you don't leave with a tankfull yourself when you go home.

I'll be sticking to those mild ales - that red coloured stuff does me no good at all (apart from making me 'relaxed' and 'chatty'), and as for the home-brew rocket fuel from the last GTG - tasty but dangerous!

I'll provide some nibbles... Please feel free to bring any beverages you like.. I'll provide some ice....

Feel free to PM for address details if needed.

Cheers Rod

I think most of us live "North of Morphett Vale". Now, if we can get on to the expressway by 1230, the drive down will be more pleasant, but we will be early. So, it will likely be a drive down all of the South Road.

I have just checked my Diary, and The Crows are playing The Cats at Footy Park that very afternoon. I am a non-starter Kensell. Sorry to miss your GTG.

Ahh, your probably right but at my work place "north of nowhere" is north of Grand Junction Road (sorry batty :) )....

Forgot about the "good old" one way southern express way.... So I'm happy to start earlier so People can use it...

So Benje you going to see the crows get done by 10 goals? :) hmm wish you luck

you are correct there - that is my recollection as well. Adelaide ends at the Gepps Cross Intersection to the north, and at the start of the expressway to the south (Darlington!)
