Hi all,never used a sub before and don't know where to start.
Have not long brought some Klipsch Heresy's and most reviews recommend using a sub?
I do like the sound but am still try to find an amp that suits as they seem to be amp sensitive.
Any recommendations would be great!
The room is 4m sq and speakers are placed in the corner.
Bass is not bad for music but movies need a bit more,could i solve this with a sub or amp?

I've never been a fan of the Heresy. To my ears, it was/is a horrible speaker. Bass poor and a midrange that sliced through your ears. HF was not extended and unpleasant. As I worked for the importer, I had the opportunity to try a large number of different amplifiers with them. None were satisfactory. To me. YMMV. That said, yes, a sub will certainly help. 4m sq, is a VERY tiny room. Here are my suggestions:

* Use a bigger room.
* Attend to room damping (particularly in the mids). This means lots of carpets/rugs, soft furnishings, heavy curtains, etc. Even egg cartons will help.
* Dump the Heresy and find some Klipsch Forte or Forte II. These are stunningly excellent speakers. Smooth, clean and efficient.
