I was wondering how to turn off wireless and get the Touch to connect via Ethernet?

Tis easy.

Get back into network setup on the SBT and select ethernet (have the cable already connected). Nothing more required for the connection. The SBT should start to acquire the connection. Mine is wired rather than WiFi.

Thanks. That worked !!! I wanted to implement Soundcheck 3.0 mods before I did this. Have you done this and is it pretty straightforward?

Be interested to know how you find the mods. Some say great, others say not really worth the effort.
Main: SB Touch / Rega P3 / Audio-gd CD7 / Audio-gd Reference 10.2 / Marantz 240 / Spendor SA1
Office: SB Touch / Audiolab 8000S / JB3s

Nar...the only thing I have done is have the PC convert to WAV rather than the SBT. Still not convinced this has improved the sound at all. On some tracks I get sibilance when I don't recall having heard that before.

I need to sit down and test to see what the issue is.

I did not improve the full toolbox of mods, only some of the basic stuff like conversion on pc and a few others that were selectable without any firmware hacks etc and I found a dramatic improvement. I found the soundstage to be much wider and more forward.

I had the same experience. Just implemented the changes in (1) and (2) and did get an improvement in SQ.
I get the impression that the big improvement is to be had when implementing the toolbox in step (3).

I have installed both toolbox II and now III. While I love what this guy is doing, I have not detected much variation in sound (for the good or bad). I recently turned off the screen mod as I missed using the touchscreen.

BTW - I found the process straight forward and encountered no issues thus far (knock on wood).
