What do you think of this method to connect speaker cable?

I came across this image on another forum where the jumpers have been removed and the cable stripped back far enough to enable feeding through the binding posts.

I guess one concern would be oxidization of all that exposed copper. If the binding post holes were large enough to allow it, perhaps some strategically placed heat shrink might slow down the oxidization.

It would also be inconvenient if/when you need to disconnect/reconnect the speakers.

But otherwise it seems like cost effective and direct way to connect cables.

What do ewes reckon?

Hi mate, the method in the pic is the way to go with the jumpers removed..........or wire each driver individually if you have three amps.:thumb:
