Micmacs is a French comedy movie starring Dany Boon, it tells of how a man seeks revenge on 2 armament manufacturers who have impacted greatly on his life. Boon plays his usual ' straight/ funny man' with ease and the situations and set ups are well worked out.
The cast are all well known if you watch this genre.
Definitely worth a look if you like slightly offbeat comedy....

Interestingly, I found it to be one of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's lesser efforts.

I'm with cfcjb, it's not up to his other movie which this seems to follow in intent. Children in the city or something like that its called.
Still, it's a Dany Boon movie and I like him a lot:d

"attenuate the self-generated reflections" - "to absorb and dissipate"...sounds like a mirror to me and why put one of those on top of a speaker?

Hi Luc,
it is 'City of Lost Children', another quirky movie from Jean-Pierre Jeunet, but probably less so than 'Delicatessen', which is a very dark and disturbing movie at its base, a true black comedy ....

Cheers
