Looking at Dual Output HDMI Bluray Player.
The Panasonic DMP-BDT3103D looks good.
RRP: $399
I will run 1 x HDMI -> Marantz SR7002 and 1 x HDMI directly to 40" Samsung A750 LCD.
What do you think?
Ron.

that one has Digital Tube Sound
must be good
whats the benefit of going straight to the TV rather than through the AVR?

I am having an issue with drop-out of sound and pic for around 5-10 secs at a time.
Currently running Sony S380 Bluray -> HDMI -> Marantz SR7002 -> HDMI -> Samsung 40" A750 LCD.
Amp and TV "no signal" once awhile.
Changed HDMI cables.
Tried 1-2 Splitter.
Changed settings on the amp, bluray and tv.
Wondering if dual Hdmi would fix problem, PLUS I can run the Marantz in "pure direct audio" (video OFF).

If the intermittent fault exists in the Marantz AVR wont you still have audio drop out 5 - 10 secs at a time?
Unless you're confident the fault lies in the Sony BDP, it sounds like you are spending money to "work around" a problem that would probably cost less to fix. (rough estimate to replace the HDMI board in my HK is $280)
I have seen setups similar to what you are proposing and have seen issues with syncing of the audio / video.
Does the Sony BDP have analogue outputs as well as HDMI? If it does AND can have both running together (PS3 can to a point)? Maybe something you could experiment with.

I know I am an Oppo fan, but, at $400, why not spend $500 and get an oppo-93 with dual hdmi, and all sorts of streaming/network/usb playback? You get sacd and dvd-a playback as well as blu-ray. Yes, it costs more for region-free again, but IMO its a good buy.
I am also a huge panasonic fan (my last 6 TV's have been panasonic, as was my previous dvd/pvr).
