didn't want to make two seperate threads so thought i would ask about media players here as well.

also what is asio & wasapi? do i need to download one of these as well?

btw my pc is about 2 years old running vista 64bit & using the mobo realtek audio coaxial out to my dac.

thanks,
rob

Been listening to SHOUTcast stations through my Sony STR-DA5600ES receiver for background music during the day.
Favourites so far are Sky.FM and would you believe it discoduck.fm. Both commercial free and reasonable audio quality at 160kbs/s MP3.
There are other channels on SKY.FM for jazz and they are cool too.

Cheers,
Alan R.

Hi Robeel,
I have been using Last.Fm for couple of months now, I must say I am addicted to it.
I like the feature where it suggets new music based on what you like to listen.
It costs AUD 3 a month. It has a trial period where you can listen to 50 tracks for free.

Also check out Grooveshark which is free.
