If you doubt it, ask Bill Bryson (see his - "Down Under"). He'll straighten you out.
If I come - a remote possibility - I'll bring a lettuce leaf and some "rocket". Will that do?

Hope you guys have a great time - I really enjoyed meeting Terry and hearing the franks when I went through some years back on our cravan holiday - Bathurst should be a hoot - look forward to the pictures, stories and what music gets played
Well andy, at least this time the entire thread may not get binned. So whatever pics come from it might still be available unlike t'other one.
Bear, that mean you in again?? Hope so. Oh, btw, who owns the dropkick murphys??? 2cd set, still here.
Brumby! Oh man, make it happen yeah? Pretty sure most have a great time, and if you are into the V8's, then even more so.

They don't call it Bat Hurst lightly either. The bats aren't too bad, but the hurst is a real nuisance...

then govts can do the same to cigarette companies who add nicotine to their product.
Raising revenue is not an excuse for allowing manufacturers to use addiction to sell product.
Imagine the public outrage if supermarkets put addictive chemicals in meat or vegetables.

Was an awesome race, I've not enjoyed it so much in years, last 10 laps rocked.....was good to listen to it in surround too!
....I should have come this year, things at home limit my leave pass ability next year with any luck

Yep, even though Tander and the other guy won, a Lowndes/Skaife win would have been the perfect finish for the best drive, by far, of the race. I blame Murphy for delaying the catch by a couple of laps.
