I am having a few people around to listen to some gear
1. VAF I93
2. VAF IV mk2
3. Duntech princess
4. Green chilli chang
5. Aslan M1
6. Richter Wizards

amps:
1. yamaha Zsomething (whatever the top of the line one was a couple of years ago)
2. electrocompaniet pre/dual mono pwer
3. ME 25pre 850power
4. possibly earles time machine - only for M1's and chang

Im not bothering with a TT because I can do without hisses crackles pops, wow flutter and whetever else is there - it will be all digital

also will be a blind test of bi wiring

This is a test of the thread closure.
but what I wanted to ask was "how did it go ?" - was it this morning ??
If the US govt can force Coca Cola off the market until they removed cocaine from their product,
then govts can do the same to cigarette companies who add nicotine to their product.
Raising revenue is not an excuse for allowing manufacturers to use addiction to sell product.
Imagine the public outrage if supermarkets put addictive chemicals in meat or vegetables.

Ah so it is, silly me. I'll never know how it all went......

THis could become another 'test' thread if we're not careful :(

Analogue setup: 1986 Townshend Rock Mk2/AO rewired RB250/Soundsmith retipped VdH DDT-II special, Marshall Leech head amp, Copland CSA-14, Castle Howards.
PC System: i7 win8, T Amp, Monitor Audio Monitor One.
Digital System: Squeezebox Touch, DVD P181 as transport for CD, Audio gd NFB2.

 

Plus 4 additional TTs

 

No Sub-woofers were used in the reproduction of this sound
