my 58" panel is wall mounted.
If you are using the panel's speakers (which I would not recommend) then I would not wall-mount. You will need all the help you can get to hear audibly the speakers on the TV. Much better if the audio is directed through your stereo/hi-fi/theatre gear.
Definitely digital. Analogue will appear very average on such a large panel, especially given some local reception issues
50 Hz vs 100 Hx. I have got no idea. seems like marketing mumbo/jumbo to me.
With your room size, you can probably fit whatever size you (and your budget) desire, unless your seating/viewing position is really close to the TV.
One of my frends has gone from a 58" panasonic to a 65" panasonic to a 63" Samsung 3d-tv. He has been happy with each incrementals tep, with the bonus that the last purchase (samsung 63") was significantly less expensive than the pana 65". Your choice where you go here.
Personally, I am very happy with the pana 58". Anything larger would be too big for the surrounding decor. I feed all audio through my home theater, so the average speakers on the big TV's are not used.
Thanks Benji & joz for your input,
I have purchased the new pana TH-P54V20A & the DMR-BW880, i have to wait as stock limited at this time anyway i have a Yamaha RX-V1500 being the age of the amp i have now noticed there isnt any HDMI points can you forsee any conection problems ? any member here using the (Adelaide loud speaker) Ascension speakers ? would like a review if possible. Before purchasing i had been asking around about a Pana Plasma a few people mentioned the Z1A model of which they are hard to find power hungry & expensive but a very good unit , as luck would have it after purchasing my V20A i found one at Lecornu again 54 inch but if anyone interested.
