you seem to know alot about this new technology.Yep like the ones at the cinema. Not the old red and blue ones. The later models coming in a couple of years you won't have to.

Also do you know if in the future the current broadcast from the tv stations will improve for example this 50hz ? to 100hz ?

my 58" panel is wall mounted.
If you are using the panel's speakers (which I would not recommend) then I would not wall-mount. You will need all the help you can get to hear audibly the speakers on the TV. Much better if the audio is directed through your stereo/hi-fi/theatre gear.
Definitely digital. Analogue will appear very average on such a large panel, especially given some local reception issues
50 Hz vs 100 Hx. I have got no idea. seems like marketing mumbo/jumbo to me.
With your room size, you can probably fit whatever size you (and your budget) desire, unless your seating/viewing position is really close to the TV.
One of my frends has gone from a 58" panasonic to a 65" panasonic to a 63" Samsung 3d-tv. He has been happy with each incrementals tep, with the bonus that the last purchase (samsung 63") was significantly less expensive than the pana 65". Your choice where you go here.
Personally, I am very happy with the pana 58". Anything larger would be too big for the surrounding decor. I feed all audio through my home theater, so the average speakers on the big TV's are not used.
Happy choosing.

Benji , i like yourself have been uming and arring with regard to the 54/58 & 65 inch Panasonic plasma my room size is 5.5mtr wide 10mtr in length 3.2mtr in height yep its a small extension, im very new to this technology hell its my first reply on this site, im a little confused with regard to the tv signal being 50hz analogue v digital will i get any graing as i hear people calling it from either analogue or digital i'm assuming digital is perfect i'm hoping you can shed an answer or even better give me some direction as what you have experienced by having yours ? i prefer to wall mount mine is yours wall or stand ? Cheers Mike.

Don't fuss about the 50/100hz thing as it has little relavance with plasma. But LCDs on the other hand it does make a huge difference with 200hz being the panel of choice.
The 10A 58" and 65" should be had for significant discounts now with the approaching release of the 3D versions comming soonish.
Peace love and mungbeans

Thanks Benji & joz for your input,
I have purchased the new pana TH-P54V20A & the DMR-BW880, i have to wait as stock limited at this time anyway i have a Yamaha RX-V1500 being the age of the amp i have now noticed there isnt any HDMI points can you forsee any conection problems ? any member here using the (Adelaide loud speaker) Ascension speakers ? would like a review if possible. Before purchasing i had been asking around about a Pana Plasma a few people mentioned the Z1A model of which they are hard to find power hungry & expensive but a very good unit , as luck would have it after purchasing my V20A i found one at Lecornu again 54 inch but if anyone interested.

Hello Joz,
Any details/inside line ? It would be good as a solution instead of a projector for bright rooms.

"Pros
The best black levels of any new TV on the market
Good out of the box performance in THX mode
Reference greyscale and colour reproduction when calibrated
Lack of PWM noise and clean looking images
Freeview HD and Freesat HD built-in
Reference level 3D performance
Excellent build quality
Excellent lag times for gamers
Full ISFccc calibration controls
THX Certified
Two Pairs of 3D glasses included with the display
WiFi dongle included with the display
Cons
The display appears to have a processing issue with 50Hz material that results in artefacts
Uncertainty over long term black level performance
Some visible banding with certain material
Menu design gets in the way when calibrating
Some users may see flicker from the image
3D glasses not that comfortable
Still lacks film cadence detection
CMS lacks full three way control for colour, hue and luminance as well as no control for secondary colours
Greyscale calibration only uses as a 2 point control as opposed to the 10 point controls available on some other displays
Lack of content on Viera Cast
Uses considerably more power than its LCD rivals
Extra 3D glasses are expensive
The price which is comparable to a good projector"

Thank you for the information.
I went and checked it out for myself. Compared to the latest high end models this is a mid-level screen. There was much more detail in the high level panels (around the $5 - 5.5k mark), in fact sufficient detail to warrant the extra cash.
I spoke to the manager and was able to ask some questions. According to him the model cycles run such that the lower end screens begin to be replaced in April, until August, at which time the higher end panels are replaced.
If this information is accurate, then it appear that the time to try to get the best deals is prior to or just after the model cycle ends.
Something to consider.

I saw Cris's Panasonic 65" VT20 doing 2D blu-ray on the weekend. It was impressive. However, I am sticking with my 58" V10 (I value being happily married).
Good definition, and good transition from black to shading to full sun. Watching 'Sound of Music'.
Happy trying....
