Now this is a group not to be missed. The Swell Season perhaps not as well known as its lead singer - Glen Hansard? And for those who are fans of Female Singers Markéta Irglová has just such an angelic voice.
I just hope they play in Brisbane at some stage.

The new album 'Strict Joy' is something quite special - much bigger sound than their debut (which later morphed into the 'Once' soundtrack). I've scored the deluxe edition which has a live disc on it as well as a bit of a live/studio doco DVD.
The live band now has the rythmn section from Hansard's other band, The Frames including that band's very very good violin player. And I suspect a few Frames tracks will make it in to the set list too.
