Hi guys, my car insurance is due on Xmas eve (it was a good idea at the time to buy a new car for xmas 2 yrs ago :( ) and once again I am not happy with my premium. Currently with AAMI and although they are still cheaper than most (for my car) I have done an on-line quote with Budget direct and it was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. I am not loyal to AAMI for such a huge price difference but don't know anything about this Budget direct insurance.

Does anybody insure their car with them, has claims being relatively hassle free etc.

Thanks.

how old are you? any accidents or licence suspensions?
I just got full compo with Aami as they were the cheapest and the most reliable. Have always treated me and friends/family right.
I think excess was $400.......

cheers

I drive a subaru liberty too - 2005 GT :(

I'm about the same age and driving record (28 - no offences or accidents).

I'm insured with ING (who use CGU). 10% off when booking online. Cheapest I could find. I was paying around the $450 mark - going up to $500 due to no 10% discount for this year. All depends on where you live as well of course.

Very nice choice in car :P
That is dirt cheap for a turbo. Mine is just the 2.5 non-turbo (premium pack) and my insurance is $800.
ING as in the bank?

Just got an on-line quote, a bit cheaper but not probably not enough to change. Must be the area i live in?
