Krispy Audio
Item: Manley Labs Mahi-Mahi EL84 monoblock power amplifiers Location: Berowra NSWPrice: $2,995 $2,400 posted (RRP $6,395)Item Condition: Great (see pics)Reason for selling: Pre-loved gear that is looking for a nice warm home to settle down inPayment Method: All except Amex or I.O.U.Extra Info: These have been fully tested to be working well. I would budget for a replacement set of valves in the near future, however there is plenty of life in these valves as is. This has been factored into the price which is under 50% of a new pair. Krispy Audio
Lol Diners - just as bad as Amex with their exorbitant fee schedule!
mrdave
I was thinking another pair would be lovely, but HRH says she'd prefer a new dining room table and a honeymoon. Great photos Cam, GLWTS!

RockandorRoll
Damn these would look cool in the rack Im not normally a fan of Manley designs, but these are very sexy looking amps. I bet they would pair well with my Veritys as well
Krispy Audio
I was never a fan of their looks until my first Manley component. In the flesh they've got a nice retro-coolness about them. I tried them with my Verity Parsifals and it's a nice pairing!
LogicprObe
Lol Diners - just as bad as Amex with their exorbitant fee schedule! Just add a 15% surcharge.
rantan
People still use Diners FFS Dunno why. They were cool in the 60's I believe, but now?
Demondes
People still use Diners FFS Dunno why. They were cool in the 60's I believe, but now? Retro payments for a retro looking amp, how about BankCard or Cheque. Nice looking amps.
ABG
Im not normally a fan of Manley designs, Wash your mouth out infidel! I've never had someone come to my place for the first time and comment on how cool my amp looks. If these sound even nicer than the Stingray, then they will be a very sweet little pair of monoblocks. GLWTS Cam.
Demondes
Cameron how would these work with Atohm speakers (in my signature you'll note I have the GT2's) Underpowered? These are also a bit finicky with regard to Preamp?
Krispy Audio
You'd be fine in UL mode (40w) but I wouldn't run them in Triode mode (20w). Input impedance is 110kohm which for the majority of the preamps I sell, more than fine (i.e. more than 10x the output impedance of the preamps). So not too finicky, just ensure your pre is 11kohm or less.

Equaliser
Yep and it sounds good with headphones too (through an appropriate dummy load adaptor). If I had the HD800's still and the custom adaptor I built years back, this classified would be closed.

matt200sr
These are very flexible amps being triode/UL switchable and having input sensitivity adjustment. I previously owned a pair and paired with 86db efficient ML2 Reference. In triode mode on the medium input settings making 12 watts from memory made a shite load of well defined bass slam and couldn't fault anything really. The el84 is an underrated output valve. All this combined with Cam's sales service makes this great buying. Cant imagine anyone being disappointed with these.

heman_
How on earth are these still available? I'm tempted to buy them and I don't even have a pair of speakers at the moment I reckon these would be murderous with a pair of esl-57s too
