Presentation at ASoN

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I was invited to do a presentation at the monthly gathering of ASoN (Audiophile Society of NSW).

With the Ocellia speakers and 300B amp, plus the 47 Lab Flatfish, Gemini DAC and etc, I had a real fun time playing lots of my kind of music...;)

Almost 40 people were there and the room at Haberfield is huge and known to be a tough challenge acoustically.

It took a good 3 hours to have the whole system warm up, I was so relieved to see some people enjoying the music towards the end of the presentation.:D

I must thank ASoN and Edgar for allowing me to do the presentation.

On Sunday of 21 June 2009, I am going to do another presentation, the first audio101's Music Appreciation GTG. This time, I would like to invite all SNA'ers to come. I will start another thread separately, please stay tuned.

Looks like a nice event Jack. I recognize Edgar, who are the others?

Hi Keith,

ASoN has some real "heavyweight" audiophiles attending the gathering regularly, that's why I was very nervous having to do the presentation.

In the photos, I only know some of them, Richard is the president of the club, Stephen is the music and vinyl guru who writes reviews extensively in the club's newsletters; other regulars are George, Joe, Scott, Elson, David and Henry...
